Basic Degree in Medicine (MB, BS or MD) or (MB. Ch.B).

Pre-Registration Internship - 1 year rotation in Medicine, Obs & Gynaecology, Surgery and Paediatric.

Registration with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

NYSC or Exemption Certificate is compulsory

This programme shall be open to:

(i) Candidates having a Bachelor's degree with honours or its equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering of this or any other approved University,

(ii) Candidates having at least a Second Class lower Division in the Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Administration or any science-related subject of this or any other approved University,

(iii) Candidates will be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process

Holders of honours degrees in appropriate Arts, Science and Social Science subjects are eligible to apply

Candidates must possess a first degree in any discipline obtained from University of Lagos or any other accredited institution.

Candidates must show evidence that they have completed their NYSC programme or produce evidence of exemption. Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process before admission.

Holder of Degree obtained from Outreach/Satellite Campus are not eligible to apply.

Only holders of honours degrees in disciplines other than Mass Communication and Journalism are eligible to apply.

Holders of honours degrees in Social Science, Engineering, Pure and Applied Sciences or honours degrees in other Disciplines with strong quantitative background are eligible to apply.

(i)            Candidates with a Bachelor's degree (Honours) in any discipline from the University of Lagos or any other University may apply for admission into the programme.

(ii)           Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process before admission.

(iii)          Candidates are required to satisfy all other requirements of the Postgraduate School.

Candidates must have a first degree in Engineering (except Civil Engineering), Building and Geology.  Degree holders in other disciplines willing to be considered must submit their transcripts to the Department.

Duration: 2 Sessions.

(i)        The programme, which is part-time, will last for three academic semesters and admission shall be open to candidates with Bachelor's degrees with honours in Engineering other than Chemical Engineering, the Physical Sciences i.e. Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and also in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, and Geology.

(ii)       Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process.

This programme is part-time and is to last for 24 calendar months.

Admission Requirements:
Candidates for admission into the PGD (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) programme are required to have:
(i)            a first degree with honours in any field of Engineering other than Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering;

(ii)           a first degree with honours in Physics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics or any of the allied courses with good background in Mathematics.

(iii)          Candidates who are prima-facie qualified under these requirements may be required to satisfy the department                          in qualifying/selection examination.

(ii) Environmental Geophysics

Open to Candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree with honours in Physical Sciences or Engineering of this University or any other approved institution.

Candidates are required to possess a first degree in any of the quantitative or numerate disciplines preferably with background in statistics and basic mathematics from any accredited University.  In addition all candidates may be required to fulfill a specified standard in an entrance examination or interview for selection

Open to candidates who possess a first degree with honours from any field of Engineering or in any field in the Physical Sciences, e.g. Physics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics etc

(i)            First degree in Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying, Fine Arts, Economics, Forestry and Horticulture with honours or its equivalent from this or any other accredited University.

(ii)           Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in the selection process before admission.

(iii)          Candidates are expected to satisfy all other requirements of the School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Lagos.

The course is open to Candidates with any of the following qualifications:

(i)            First Degree in subjects cognate to Surveying and Geoinformatics such as Engineering and Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Geo Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Actuarial Science, s well as Geography with Mathematics from the University of Lagos or any other accredited University.

(ii)           Master of Geoinformatics of the University of Lagos with first degree in subjects cognate to Surveying and                                 Geoinformatics.

(iii)          Candidates with Masters degree in Geographic Information System (MGIS) of the University of Lagos or any other accredited Institution.

Notes
Candidates with qualifications in (ii) and (iii) above will have to make up for deficiencies in Mathematics and Physics.

Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process before admission.

Admission is open to applicants who possess:

(i) At least a Second Class Lower Bachelors Degree in Physics, Physics Education, or Engineering

(ii) At least a Third class degree in Mathematics and/or Statistics, Mathematics Education and Computer Science.

Admission is open to applicants who possess:

(i)            at least a Second Class Lower Bachelors Degree in Physics, Physics Education, Engineering, Economics, Psychology, Actuarial Science or Insurance.

(ii)           At least a Third class degree in Mathematics and/or Statistics, Mathematics Education and Computer Science.

Candidates are required to possess a good honours degree in any of the disciplines in Engineering, Physical Sciences, as well as Geography, Sciences, Business Administration, Arts and Law of the University of Lagos; a graduate in any of the same discipline of any of NetTel's partner Universities, or any other University recognized by the University of Lagos. Candidates might be required to satisfy the host Department in a selection process.

(b)         Visual Arts
(i)            Candidates with Bachelor's degree with honours in other disciplines (except Visual Arts or Creative Arts) from the University of Lagos or any other approved University may apply for admission into the programme.
(ii)           Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process before admission
(iii)          Candidates are also expected to satisfy all other requirements of the School of Postgraduate Studies.

( c)          Music
(i)            Candidates with Bachelor's degree with honours in other disciplines (except Music or Creative Arts) from
the University of Lagos or any other approved University may apply for admission into this programme.
(ii)           Candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process before admission.
(iii)          Candidates are also expected to satisfy all other requirements of the School of Postgraduate Studies

Bachelor's degree (with Honours) in Accounting and related Disciplines from this or any other approved University. Such other related disciplines include: Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Management, Economics, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Law and Accounting Education

Applicants must also hold membership of recognized Accounting Professional bodies in Nigeria

The programme is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from the University of Lagos or any other recognized institution (not below 2nd Class Lower) with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.

(i) At least a B.Sc degree  with honours in Architecture, Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Civil  Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Surveying, Physics and Mathematics

(ii) Any other equivalent qualification approved by the University.

(iii) In addition, an  applicant may be required as a condition of admission to undergo a selection process.

(iv) All applicants must satisfy other admission requirements of the School of Postgraduate studies.

(i)            Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree not lower than a third class in any area of Biological, Medical, Bio-medical or Paramedical Sciences and currently engaged in activities that require Forensic Biology or Genetic Counselling.

(ii)           Candidate with a Bachelor’s degree not lower than  a third class in Arts, Education or Social Sciences who require Forensic Biology or Genetic Counselling in their endeavours.

(iii)          A candidate that does not possess a first degree in an area of Biological, Medical or Biomedical Sciences but who has a first degree not lower than a third class in a non-science degree and wish to obtain a Master’s degree in the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics may also apply.

(iv)          A candidate may be required to satisfy a selection process in the form of written or/and oral interview or examination.

(i)            Candidates with Bachelor's degree in English.

(ii)           Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in other disciplines who have aptitude and intrest in English studies.

(iii)          Candidates with Bachelor's degree in other degrees for whom English Competency is a professional/Career requirement or                necessity.
